Hotel Rozenhof in Heilig Landstichting is a gem I stumbled upon during my recent visit. The value for money is exceptional, as the prices were reasonable and affordable. One aspect that truly stood out was the attention to detail. From the basic amenities in the rooms to the comfortable beds and the good WiFi signal, the hotel ensures that every guest feels at home. Additionally, the location on the outskirts of Nijmegen allows for a peaceful stay while still being easily accessible to the city center within 15 minutes by bicycle.
All aspects of this hotel were impeccable.

Told I'd get a room with toilette and bath and even called to confirm, but when I got there they made me pay 10 extra euros for a bath-tub. Ok. The room with the bathtub was nicer, but the bath water wouldn't drain and smelled like rotten egg sewer!!!! I told the front desk about it and they didn't apologize. They made it seem like it was a known issue when talking to each other about it. "Room 22 is clogged again." "Pay the bill." Was their answer to me. The rooms all stink like oil-based lacquer paint too.

The location of the hotel was very pretty; it was surrounded by gardens. It also had a very nice restaurant. In addition, although the hotel is not in the central Nimegen, there is a bus from early in the morning untill midnight from the central city to the hotel.
There was no information pack in the room and I had to ask about everything I wanted.

The evening meal was excellent: the dining room was spacious and comfortable and the service very helpful. We almost had the place to ourselves so it was very quiet. Nevertheless, it was all done with great charm and attentiion to detail. The food and cooking was all very high quality. A meal to remember.
The corridors were a little dark and in need of updating - the room was very good and had been updated recently.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with good WiFi signal and cozy beds. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect. It was situated on the outskirts of a beautiful green area, allowing easy access to the city center of Nijmegen within 15 minutes by bicycle. I liked the proximity to the University in Nijmegen (15 minutes walk). The room was recently renovated so the bathroom was modern and clean. The restaurant was very nice and on the whole my stay was good value for money.
The bed and pillows were old and lumpy. The hotel was being renovated (without warning) and the builders were there before 8am. Luckily I was there for business not pleasure! The staff were not memorable at all (although the restaurant staff were professional) and the breakfast was very plain.

I recently stayed at Rozenhof during my research at Radboud University, and I had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect for me as it was close to the university. The food served, including grilled cod fish, salmon, and chicken, was absolutely delicious and juicy. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly, and they even upgraded my room to a spacious double bed room with a luxurious bathroom featuring a huge bathtub. The cleanliness of the room was impressive, and it had a fresh and inviting scent. I really enjoyed my stay at Rozenhof, and it was an overall positive experience.
It was all superb! 🌟
